Tachi Sushi Bar opened its doors 33 years ago with a simple mission: bring real Japanese cuisine to America, made the way it’s meant to be made. What started as one family’s dedication to sharing what they learned in Japan has grown into a neighborhood institution, known for honoring tradition while creating a signature taste all our own, from our sauces to our cooking methods, found nowhere else.
Every piece of nigiri, every hand roll, every bowl of miso soup carries three generations of craft. We still cut our fish by hand. We still make our rice the traditional way. And we still believe great sushi starts with respect: for the ingredients, for the technique, and for the people sitting at our counter. That’s what we want every guest to feel: a warm, genuine welcome, and a taste they carry with them long after they leave.
